QuSecure is a Silicon Valley startup whose next generation technology protects government and commercial enterprises from both quantum and classical digital threats, and safeguards against a future where hackers will be armed with quantum decryption technology.

Ahead of a Series A funding round, QuSecure wished to present a more mature and sophisticated image that better reflected their own journey. Off the back of our recent brand positioning exercise for them, we recommended they move away from the fear-mongering and untethered enthusiasm that currently categorises the industry. Instead, the new brand presents QuSecure as a thought leader in the space, calm and considered, partnering with their clients to guide them through this new and uncertain territory.

Given the complex and esoteric nature of the subject matter, illustration played an important role in the visual identity. Working in conjunction with illustrator Parko Polo, we created a series of graphics which are broadly suggestive of the quantum world, but also double as beautiful and ambient brand assets.

Four icons were created to represent some of QuSecure’s key industries: Space and satellites; Federal operations; Banking and finance; and Critical infrastructure.
